Field trips are a great way to break out of a rut, end a boring subject or bring life into something that seems particularly difficult. It also gives kids a chance to get to know each other and interact in a more relaxed environment, without the pressure of grades or the constraints of classrooms and grades. That’s what we did to K1 students on Wednesday, February 29th 2012. We visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.

So many things we learned in science and technology museums, such as knowledge about the earthquake and tsunami. We also felt the earthquake simulations.

Other than that the children also tried a variety of toys such as earth puzzle and explored the giant piano or ball velocity measuring device. After that we saw a variety of freshwater species in freshwater museum.

Well, the kids were so excited when they saw the fish that have the electricity and they were also given the opportunity to hold a puffer fish.

This field trip ended with a four-dimensional movies. It’s an incredible journey!
